I did ..it did ..but I'm still seeing only someone with better lighting on their tank than I have ... but I am still looking at it :)

I think the problem is that I am a noobie SPS keeper ( go softies !  )and just might not know what I should be seeing

Argh! I hate that word, Pavona. So many meanings depending on who you talk to.

Yeah just growth. Not much by any means. this is a nano tank. Only clue I will give is look closely at the corals in this pic.

I'm not agreeing, or disagreeing. Not a marine biologists. All I can say, do a google/yahoo image search for the word Pavona. Its a toss up lol.

yeah, I guess it is no different then saying montipora. How about this - Pavona maldivensis, a bit more descriptive.

I had to look at this on my bigger monitor.

Look at the base of the corals in the center.......the follow it up to the tips on the right, and then the tips on the left.  The tips on the left morphed into the coral type growing up the middle.

Is this a graft done on purpose?   or did the corals do this naturally?

the coral in the middle is a hybrid color morph of the one on the extreme right, and the one on the extreme left...

Was this sexual reproduction (seems impossible given that it appears to be bigger than either "parent")?

is this coral hosting the zooxenthellae found in both outside species, creating the awesome color morph?

OK, Wall tank figured it out. These two acro's were placed side by side..not with the intent to produce a morph...but as it seems they are both now sharing the same base and are begining to fuse together. I had to  do several double takes on this. Looks like we may have a graft. No warefare, no dead spots. and the base appears to be solid not overgrown. Is this possible with acro's?

In the frag tank mine never mess with each other. Some are touching. They are fine. Larger colonies trying to expand kill each other. I hope it works out, if it does, I call dibs on a frag :p

I am going to try this tommorrow. Two similar acros of different colors. See what happens.

I "think" I had the same thing happen about a year ago.  It was doing great until my co2 ran out and I didn't realize it.  I lost most of my SPS including that one.  Good Luck!  I'll anxious to see how yours does!  :)
