CUC Question
« on: October 24, 2010, 22:45:00 »
I am looking at getting some more snails, currently only have Some margaritas, They do a good job, but they always end up falling over  and they can get turned back.  What are some good,  quarter sized snails or smaller that would be good, but don't fall over as much or can at least get turned back over.

I like Nassarius and Conchs for the sand bed.   Nerites do a good job on the glass.   If you need something for the rock, get some Scarlet Hermits.

I'm needing some more CUC so if someone sets up a group buy (hint hint) I'd be in for some.

I'm going to be ordering from reefs2go in a few weeks, But I'm sure most of you won't want to come to Lima to get your stuff.  My order alone is almost 400.00

Best snails I ever got!!!  I have so many that my glass is almost covered in them when the lights go out.  It's like they breed faster than they die, but whatever, I'm happy.  Glass is always clean.

I could sure use a few things. ReefCleaners has really nice macro algae's as well http://reefcleaners.org/index.php?page=shop.browse&category_id=18&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=34 but would be up to a Reefs2Go order as well

Does Reefs2Go sell this snail "AV's strombis snails "??  I'm on their site and don't see that name, but sounds like a good one from what you guys are saying...

AV stands for Aquavista99, he has some killer snails.  Reefs2go doesn't look to have them.

I have always heard good things about the snails tim has at fragswaps.  I'd be up for some if he has alot to sell.  Let me know if he responds

These things are great.  I started with 12 or so from IPSF, and that was 5 years ago...  they populate like crazy.   These are the same thing Tim is selling, he sells out quickly.
