Thought I should post a few items about the meet.
It will be held at our house on April 14th from noon til 3ish.
Please send me a PM for the address if you haven't already been by.
We will be grilling out and possibly making/ordering other arrangements for food as well.
I don't have the slightest problem with people bringing frags over, but please, no open water near the system.
As previously mentioned in other posts, we have a decent sized pond that is well stocked. There are several rigs at the house, but I encourage you to bring additional tackle, rods etc.
If and only if everyone in attendance is comfortable with setting up a target range we can do that as well.
More details to come as well as a list of attendees.
Looking forward to seeing everyone's smiling faces!
-Wudi and Carly of the WuSue

Thank you for the offer, but it isn't necessary. We are planning to fire up the grill with burgers, dogs and the whatnot. Chips and dips for sides.
-
Know what goes really well with a cookout? Bacon wrapped jalapeño tater tots....just sayin ;)
-
Why wrap em? lol too much work, just give me a jar of jalps, a plate of bacon, a handful of tots and lots of beer... it'll all end up in the same spot ;)
Sounds good.
-
I am entirely on board for everything mentioned in the last two posts.... What beer goes best with jalapeno Bacon wrapped tatertots?
That's right, all of them.

I think I will try to make this one as well WuSue. It would be me, tmarshall, and her man aka my nephew. Thanks see you Saturday.

We're trying to get a more accurate view of who will be attending, mostly for food prep purposes. We currently have around 20 people that have mentioned interest or asked for directions. Please feel free to shoot me a PM if you aren't 100% on where we live (its a big country).
On a side note, we're both really excited to have everyone out. If people would like to carpool please feel free to post about it. We really hope that everyone that comes out has a great time.
-
I'm going to try and come.

Hey gang, the Car Sue half of WuSue here..... a couple things regarding the upcoming meeting:
1. If you have vegetarian dining preferences, please let me know. I only have a few of my veggie burgers on hand, but am happy to help out a fellow herbivore and will pick up more!
2. several people have asked if they can bring anything. Bring whatever you want! We will have plenty, as I believe a good hostess sends everyone away happy, but the expression "the more the merrier" goes for company as well as food and beverage. No obligations, and feel free to show up with nothing or everything. It's all good!
3. THE BIGGIE: I am the volunteer coordinator for our local litter enforcement, and we are hosting a volunteer event on the 28th where we need to clean up our downtown. One of the tasks is to collect crumbling bits of concrete from the curb, and trash bags sort of suck for this. If only I knew a bunch of folks that always had extra 5 gallon buckets on hand..... ;D If you have some extra buckets lying around that you want to get rid of, please bring them with you to the meet. My litter brigade volunteers will be ever so grateful, and we can return them or recycle them afterwards, whichever you prefer. Thank you so much!!!
Can't wait to see you all on Saturday! ~CarSue

How many buckets do you need?
-
I'm only looking for about 20 total, but we can use a few more. I also use them to collect dry cell batteries for recycling, but 20 is probably all I really need for now.
-
I can get you pretty close. I won't be there but will get them to you somehow. Maybe bring them over Sunday.
