Diy ato and kalkreactor
« on: October 18, 2009, 21:30:53 »
Ok I have been asked to make more Of both of these. The last time I made these the ato ( auto top off ) was $24 and the reactor was $18. I will have to double check the actual prices. Now to get a good deal we need at least 6 ato ( this will get us free shipping) and 5 reactors. A few things will be diffrent this time. The holders for the ato's I made at work last time. I no longer have access to the machine i need to make them on. Lonnie said he can make the holders out of acrylic and he would get back to us on how much they would cost. Also what ever the price is if you pay with pay pal you need to add the fees so i dont take a lose.

ato                                        reactors               misc
hunger x2                               wolf x2                 JD 3 n/c flot switches
lonnie 1                                 stickboy_107 x1
metzcool x1
We are at $129.02 we need to hit a total of $100 to get the free shipping

Ok a little update. The price went up a little on the float switches and such. If we get 6 people we get free shipping so float switch, slim power pack, and relay is 21.97. I will get a price on the cord and plug. I think thats another $4.

Mike, how much are the float switches? I'd like to pickup a few of them for some safely features on my tank.

Im getting all of it from aquahub.com. So if there is anything anyone wants on there we can go in on 1 order to save shipping. I know I'm cheap lol. I think they are $6 something.

Ok moving along. anyone else want to add to the order? The price is $24 for the ato. If you pay with paypal I will need $30 to cover the stupid paypalfees. I will be at the meeting sunday if anyone wants to pay me there. Take a look at aquahub.com and if there is something you want but dont want to pay shiping just add it to our order.

Am I correct that the ATO switches you are building auto turn on a pump from the ATO holding tank and pump that water into the sump?  If so, I already have one of these.

I run my RO water into a 35 gallon trash container that I use for mixing my saltwater.  I need some kind of float switch for that trash can so it stops the RO water flowing from the RO/DO unit and doesn't overflow (any freakin more!).  What do you suggest?

Can you point me to a post that describes the Kalk Reactor so I can see what you are building?  Thanks.

The parts have been ordered. A few things were on back order so it will take a week or two to get everything.
