I looked into my tank tonight and lo and behold there was a clutch of clownfish eggs!!!!!

I've been eagerly waiting to see whether my new pair would start spawning!!

That is awesome. I dont know how everyone gets there clowns to do that. I have had mine for 3 years and they have never spawned.

Did they take to the LTA yet?

How long have you had them? how old do you think they are?

I got them last fall from a guy in Troy. I have no idea how old they are.

They are still hosting in my frogspawn.

They lay the eggs on the live rock. I'll try to get a pic if I can find the camera.

mine always lay the eggs on the same spot on the same live rock every 3 weeks or so

Just found eggs in a rock formation that my black percula has been guarding!
How do you keep these things alive after they hatch?

Clownfish fry are very time intensive to try and raise. I have a clownfish book that spells out how to do it, but it's fairly difficult.

Thinking of trying to raise some? I have read a little, and always wanted to, but I think my pair are too young.  how big is your black percula?
