Do It Yourself / Drilling frag tank
« Last post by corihill92 on Today at 21:56:55 »
I've been building a frag setup in the basement and I'm down to the last thing.... drilling the glass.

Is there anyone near dayton that is able and willing to help me out? Never drilled glass before. It's a 48 inch lowboy frag tank.

Its a nice store. I bought several tangs there a while back and got a good package deal. I like their 1.024+ salinity while using copper setup.

i looked them up when i got home and i believe they are called a lot of things: Behn's Damsels, black and gold chromis, black and gold damsel, and bicolor chromis, among others; nice coloration as juveniles but dull adults

The bucket itself wont absorb/leech any significant amount of copper, just make sure there isnt any scale from the mixed saltwater in the bucket.

Pests, Nudsiance Algae and Prevention / Copper Question
« Last post by ohioreef on Yesterday at 20:16:25 »
I have a plastic bucket that had mixed saltwater with copper in it. It sat for several weeks. Should I be concerned with using that bucket for mixing saltwater? Is there any chance the plastic absorbed the copper and will leach it out into fresh saltwater? Or should I reserve it for waste use only?

I have a 220 gallon tank (black silicone, corner overflows have been removed so they would need to be replaced), a very well built stand and canopy that hangs for sale. Asking $1000 for all.
