What's happing. Need help.

Alright in going crazy. I did a full water test today and I have not check ammo in months so just decided to do it for the heck of of it and I was shocked to see it come show .5 ammo. Why is that. How is it possible. So I freaked and was like ill do a water change. So 5 mins later after changing 25 gallons in a 130gallon system. It still read .5 ammo.  So I was like maybe my test it messed up. I I tested my mixed fresh saltwater contrainer and read 0 ammo.   

Should I do another change?

Try another test kit. What all is in the tank. Look for something that may have died. If that test is true then yes do a water change.

I had a similar issue with my API test kit.  I was reading .5 ppm and I thought it was crazy.  So I decided to test again and I thoroughly cleaned out my tubes and my turkey baster/pipette.  After letting them dry I rinsed them with tank water and then tested.  My second readings were back to 0 ppm.  IMO try cleaning the test tubes out and test again.

definitely clean the tubes well and try a buddies test kit to be sure before you freak out.

I tried testing mine one day and the nitrates were at the very last number took a sample to a friends and it tested out just fine don't freak just yet

Lol I just saw the post today a couple others commented and I didn't bother to check the date
