orange plate coral

Hey guess I was moving my orange plate coral and it broke in 3 will it be ok? What should I do

Keep them all in the area they came from and you could end up with 3 plates instead of 1. I have fragged mine before and it did fine.

Just depends on the size, I believe I sold mine for $15 or $20.

I have 1 piece left that is unspoken for its probably 2.5" long and an 1" wide I'm going off of memory cause I'm not home I actually haven't sold any piece I've traded tho for one piece im trading along with a blue sponge im getting a rbta

Are you talking about an orange Fungia Plate or Orange plating Monti? By reading that it broke I assume you may be talking about plating monti, and I think these guys are thinking you are talking about a fungia plate.

That's cool,I didn't know they split, actually I was looking at mine the other day and it it's starting to get a part in it on one side, it's almost like a white line but it doesn't look too be in bad shape, mine might bee doing the same, did you ever notice something like that with yours,?

That's how I got mine. The guy had 1 plate coral and it split into about 10 small ones. Wish mine would do that, it spawns regularly but has never split.
