how often do i change my filter sock and how do you people clean yours ??

Change it abut every other day. Wash them with bleach and double rinse. I tur. Ine inside out and wash them with bleach and an extra rinse. Then I turn them right side out and run them no bleach no extra rinse.

YA I HERD MINE RUNNING OVER AND THOUGHT WTH AND SQUEEZED IT AND IT STARTED DOING OK AGAIN I NEED TO WASH THE 3 THAT ARE DIRTY THANKS

Clean socks= happy tanks. Sock help keep particulates out of the water, but can be pollution factories if not changed regularly. Some people change them daily.

thanks twisted sock came out white u da man did 5 gallon change today and added new box to sump with cheato and chemipure and rocks put filter pad in box wire tied it so would not come loose lets see what happens. thanks man
