I've been trying to figure out the feeding of an anemone as well. What I have been doing is weekly tank feeding of LRS Reef Frenzy Nano, and putting a piece of raw, shelled, veined shrimp that I got a Meijers into my defroster as well. Seems letting the LRS be broadcast in the tank tells the anem that it's time to eat. Granted, that's just what I have seen so far, I could be underfeeding mine, but definitely "seeding" a tank with some "yummy" food (oyster eggs, fish eggs, clam juice, etc) definitely gets mine in the mood to eat, and he wastes no time.
BTW: Welcome back to the hobby! And I'll admit, I have been enjoying the AIO tanks but we are starting to grow out of it already. If you have time, definitely post your tank and updates in the "Member Tank Profiles". I have been using that to keep a very loose journal of my tank.
