House of Tropicals

It's been several years since I've shopped at House of Tropicals, what happened? It's only a shell of what it used to be. I can best describe it as "a bomb went off in there" and what you see when entering the store is what survived the blast!

I believe they've tried to sell the entire business at one time not too long ago. I think it was around 6 months ago or so and they had it up on Ebay if I remember correctly.

yup, I have been told they are closing down and everything is (or will be) for sale including tanks & fixtures.

Very sad, it was an awesome place 10 years ago.

I tried to go down there once last summer and just could not find it.  I couldn't even find a similar address.
