Coral ranch
« on: December 14, 2008, 21:24:17 »
Well worth the ride an LPS lovers must see.

Lots of variety. All the corals looked A+.Maybe a half dozen types of each acan, blasto , favia , lobo, (some) chalice. Tons of frags of all types ,a few variety not seen in town. Lots of the usual suspect frags as well.Clams. Nice system setup. Great prices and deals. Good people with good coral id skills.

A store worth adding to my local coral circuit.

Where is Coral Ranch located?

Is it a new store?

And what are their hours?

35w out of dayton in new lebanon.

Not a store yet just getting open to public. Have to call, but I called once and was there in 30 so it seems like they are there.

I think they would be a good sponsor candidate personally.

Ran into them at cinci in '07. All you have to do is call and you can almost always go and visit them.  I agree, cheap prices and big frags, nice guys also

Reef Systems is great, they are working on being mainly tank raised frags only. Well worth the drive.

jake, lightningfront and i went up to the coral ranch on new years eve....

their prices are sheer lunacy. I live in hamilton (aka hamiltucky lol) and i there arent many places to get corals without trekking about an hour up north, but this place was well worth the drive. big big pieces, and nice pieces even... for cheap.

i'd agree with jake, sponsor material for sure IMHO

Rich is a top notch guys who knows his stuff.
I am fortunate (I think, my wife doesn't  ^-^ ) to live maybe 15 minutes away and greatly appreciate Rich's input regularly.
Thanks and God Bless,
John
