Title: porcupine puffer not eating
Post by: frogfish on August 21, 2019, 15:59:00
I have a porcupine puffer that has not been eating for the past 3 weeks or so.  He does not have the sunken belly look of a starved fish.

Historically I have fed him freeze dried krill and he gobbles it up.  Supplimented with other things I have like LRS Fertility Frenzy, Frozen Brine, half shell clams.

Now he wants none of any of it.  He still comes up to the surface and "spits" at me to feed him.  He even swims over to the food and may try once to eat it, but doesn't care after that.

I have read about a "beak" that is overgrown, but it doesn't look like it is on him.  He still opens it and there is plenty of gap for food to go into.

Any thoughts?
