The Northwest Indiana Marine Aquarium Club has put together the first ever frag swap held in NWI

Our swap will be held on September 21st from noon until 5pm.
There will be a $5 entry fee for adults and 12 and under will be free.
Nwimac full members along with their family will gain free admission.
There will be a raffle table where tickets can be purchase that you place in boxes for you chance to will different drawings.

A NWIMAC made an announcement today

Over the years Reef City Aquatics of Frankfort, IL has been a good sponsor for Nwimac and a respectable store in the area. Many of us had gotten to know the owners, Mark and Margret, over the years and really felt welcome in the store. Just this year they had to sell RCA due to a health problem Margaret had been battling. Margret has multiple sclerosis and recently her treatments haven't been helping her as much as they'd hope. She is in need of further treatment which isn't cheap. They currently have a fundraiser planned which will be the week after our swap.
They had always been there for us with advice in the hobby and also giving the best possible deals they can when we shopped at there store.
We would like to help them. During the swap we will have a jar at the Nwimac table to collect any donations you'd like to offer them. Along with that we will be donating 20% of what is collected at the swap from the entry and raffle table.
If you're unable to make it yet want to donate, please let us know. You can send donations to our club PayPal and after the swap we will take all that's been collected and take it to Mark and Margaret. The Nwimac PayPal is webmaster@nwimac.org and when sending donations please put in note that it's a donation for Mark and Margaret.

Hey all
Just wanted to give everyone a little update.
First, unfortunately due to a family obligation Beefs Reef will not be able to join us for the swap.
But in his place we have confirmed with Coral Compulsion to take that place.
We also have final confirmation on the food vendor for the swap.
The menu is as follows
Beef Sandwiches
Hot Dogs
Popcorn
Chips
Nachos & Cheese
Candy Bars
Cold Canned Pop
Bottled Water
(Subject to change by vendors discretion)
