Carpet anemone

One half of my carpet anemone is acting weird its closing up and is kinda wrinkly i guess yoy could say on the edges but the other half looks exactly thE same any ideas whats going on any chane a carpet anemone could split

Now my carpet only has tentacles on one side andnit still looks divide so bassically the mouth is on a side by itself

Cole sometime a picture says a thousand words. Try take a picture and post it next time something happens. This will help someone try to identify what is going on.

Carpets do not split.  What type is it, how large, and we need a lot more detail, water specs, lighting to help you figure out what's going on.   I've seen mine do some pretty weird things while they were walking around the tank trying to find their happy spot, however nothing like you are describing.

The ane,one is direclty under one of my 36led lights the anemone is at least 18inches wjen fully opened i dont know what was going on last night but once the lights turned off and the clowns went into the nem it went back to normal.

Don't know if you can see the underside of your tank, but assuming the foot is on the glass, can you see if it's been moving?

I can see the foot and it doesnt look like it moved
