180 fresh tank
« on: January 01, 2012, 23:13:37 »
As of some of you know I was able to score a 189g tank for free. I an going to set it up as a cichlid tank for now. I am using 4 T5 lights, white play sand, and natural stones in the corners. I still need a lot of stone but I can add it as I come across it. Also threw in a few pcs of drift wood I had.

For the "F" word it does really look good!  :D I like the rock set up in the corner as well as the rocks dispersed around the sand!  Nice job!

Thanks, its gonna take a while to get all the fish added in there. I couldn't get all the sponges and stuff out of the overflows and in the sump so I have some high ammonia in there now. I am going to do some water changes over the next few days. I am hoping the die off from that stuff will help kick start the bio balls and get them working.
