Has anyone had a coral spawn in their tank that settled and grew into a coral from the spawn? I have had Pocillopora, Pink Birdsnest, Green Birdsnest, Hammer Coral and Torch Coral.

i saw this thread a while back and thought hmmm how does that happen, Well i was looking around my tank and i have quite the collection of Pocillopora now, 3 definite new babies i can see, no telling if there are others or not. I'll see if i can grab some pics

Nice! You may spot a bunch more in coming weeks.

My Tyree toadstool is getting ready to drop off to create another coral. I assume it's a week or so away from happening.

but do i want extra green poci's.... lol

after doing some rearranging of my current rocks, to make place for the new, as well as my new anemone....I noticed my toadstool, is yet again, starting to frag itself.
at this point, i am not sure if its a good thing. How do i know if the coral is jumping ship or if it is only fragging itself? The original frag that started is still continuing. Has yet to detach

My Tyree toadstool was near some hammers and was throwing off spawn like crazy. I’ve since moved it and I haven’t seen one since. Could be coinsidence, but is there anything nearby with sweepers?
-
No. He's my center piece of my tank. Then again, there is a meteor shower encrusting on a set of barnacle shells, but I wouldn't think that would cause it. That's relatively close
-
Yeah agree meteor shower probably not a stinger. Perhaps some are just more frequent bidders than others? Anyway, meanwhile, enjoy the auto fragging!

Pocillopora, I have it all over my 120g main tank rock work, kinda like the mother colony blew up on night.
