Title: Butterfly

So I found a nice copper banded butterfly that is eating frozen. I would like to get it but am unsure about qt. any suggestions one way or the other?  I have a 40 set up with yellow tang, cleaner wrasse and pair of snowflake clowns already residing there. It has a half dose of cuprimine in the water column. My thought was to place it right in this tank and then after seeing it eat well for a couple days go ahead and increase the copper and qt for 30 days.

Sounds like a plan, but be cautious of the yellow. Sometimes they don't get along to well. I kept a yellow and copperband together for years, but the CBB was in the tank and established before the yellow.

Thanks Steve. To me the Ccb is much more desirable then a yellow tang and I would be fine if it had to go.  I guess time will tell. I will put the tang in an acclimation box at first and see how it goes.
