sebea anemone in an odd spot
« on: March 24, 2011, 10:02:14 »
Just got one of these squishy guys and he's doing well. Unfortunately, he's doing well under a rock tunnel. When we got him, I turned off all the powerheads and set him in an area I thought he would be happy with. He promptly rolled himself into one of the tunnels in the liverock and attached himself to the ceiling in there. He's has since been doing very well and has great polyp extension (even though he's in the dark) and seems to have anchored. My question is whether or not it is possible to get him to move... (baby needs an anemone that hosts clowns dang it!)

Its normal for anemones to go under ledges and such when first placed in new tank. Give 3-4 days and it will pick a spot that hopefully you both are happy with. If it picks a spot you do not like then there are ways to limit its options. Which is usually the case with my tank. :-Cry
