I am wanting to start to dose limewater to my tank. How much lime do you mix up with a gallon of water. What I am thinking is to install a 5 gallon bucket with limewater which I will manually stir once a day and have my ato pump into the bucket and have the clear water overflow into the tank. I have a ca reactor but am experiencing low ph and need to boost the ph level. The tank is barely getting to 8.04 during the day and dipping to 7.8 or so overnight. I have been experiencing some tissue stn on several of my acros and I am thinking it might be due to the lower ph levels.
