Darn Flame Angel
« on: September 18, 2012, 14:53:47 »
Luckily, the fish has been trapped and sold.  Luckily, the acans and trachyphyllia it picked on recovered and are back to normal.  Unluckily, a fire & ice zoa, another zoanthid frag and now one of my huge zoanthid colonies are closing up.  I knew the flame picked on the fire & ice, but I thought they would come back.  Unfortunately, it appears they are dying off, along with the other zoanthids the darn fish picked on.  I guess they do not recover like acans and trachs.   :-Curse  No more angels in this display.  Heck, I have a 65 gallon RSM with a flame angel that has been in there for 3 + years and it has never touched a thing.  So I am not sure why that flame one day decided to eat coral.
