When I set up my reef tank I want to use led lighting can any one please give some  info what works and what does not.

 tank size ? what type of livestock are you planning on keeping ? do you want a DIY project or just buy ? controllable for ramping up an down ? do you want all the high tech programming ?  like cloudy times an full moon an thunderstorms ? or just basic on/off ? BUDGET ?????
 
 there is SOOOO many variables with these.

Reefbuilders.com recently did a LED Showdown that could be worth a read. EcoTech Radions won for a second year in a row.

I myself have learned you get what you pay for. I went cheap on LEDs and dealt with them crapping out on me.
