WTB: MaxiJet 1200
« on: April 16, 2009, 15:40:51 »
Wasn't sure if anyone on here might have one of these laying around they don't need anymore...  Looking for a pump to go with my DIY ATO Slandis' made...  Let me know.

Thanks,
Mark

Still on the hunt if anyone has one, or similar in their junk box of old parts... :)

Check on reef central.  I see them alot on there for next to nothing.  I have a couple but they have been modded and wont work for you.

It dosnt have to be a maxi it can be any power head with about 300-400gph and a round out put so u can slip a hose over it.

i have one that stopped working ;-)

for use with the ATO? i orginally thought you were talking about the KALKENSTEIN!...you can use just about any powerhead (as long as its powerful enough to get water to where you need it) if I remember correctly....the faster it is though the more "sploshing" that happens

Yeah Mike stopped by to help me setup the ATO and didn't realize I only need to move the water about 1-2 feet laterally.  I have a Rio 250 that he said should work.  I'm going to give that a shot and see if it works, otherwise on the lookout for a small powerhead.... :D
