I like how you have the column of rocks on the rt shaped.  Pretty cool.  Looking good, I think the new fish are going to like their new home.

love your set up and you can probably clear something up for me. I have a Bean Animal drain. I set it up with the ends of the full siphon and the open channel standpipes submerged in the sump. When re-establishing siphon after the pump is off, the air can be purged from the full siphon. In case of high water level, the open channel will be able to purge the air and become a full siphon. in your set up the drains end up above the sump liquid level. Does the length of pipe create a full siphon in the pipe, due to the length of the vertical, thus not needing to be submerged?

does your overflow restart and stabilize if you turn off the return and let the pipes drain then restart the return pump?

cool thanks! i don't use filter socks because i would have to have the ends above the  surface and i thought that was a no no it is good to know that it is still an option with my build.

Orange Shoulders are some of my favorite tangs. The ones I’ve had have had awesome personalities.
