Getting out of the hobby :-(
« on: December 30, 2011, 16:47:32 »
I'm getting out of saltwater for a while.  I just had to move again and I don't know how long I'll get to stay at this house (I'm back at my home in Miamisburg).  I can't keep moving this tank around.  I've already crashed it badly this year, and not willing to try and keep it going anymore.

I have a corner tank, older style 54 AGA with no canopy. The stand is pine, in nice condition. Current occupants are 2 blue-green chromis, a mature one-Spot foxface and a kole tang. I believe the fire shrimp is alive and well somewhere in the rock. Maybe some peppermints.

There is one live SPS coral as far as I know, and lots of hairy mushrooms and miscellaneous kenya tree, and a nice looking, 6-inch sarcophyton.

I will sell the tank, stand, lights (Marine Blue Aqua Ray LED strip and a Catfish Lighting strip with 10,000K PC - 65w) Remora Aqua-C skimmer, and Aqua Clear filter for $350.

The tank is located in West Carrollton near Moraine, right off 741. I need to have it out of that house by Jan. 5 latest.

If I get no bites, it all goes to Gerbers - probably by Jan 6)
I cannot move this tank, so you will have to be able to :-)

I'm sorry to hear this.  I hope things turn around for you and you can get back in the hobby down the road.

Thanks micki.  I need to get settled somewhere permanent, and find me a sugar daddy while I'm at it so I can afford this $$$$$ hobby, lol!!

It looks like the contents are sold and maybe the skimmer.  Will update as soon as I know more.  Stay tuned.

Still available.  I will have to have it out of the house in West Carrollton by Thursday evening, then if no buyers I will have to move it here to Miamisburg.

So far I still have the skimmer, the tank, stand and lights for sale.  $250 for all of it. (the lighting is so-so, but the skimmer is only a few months old).
