Home Network Specialist needed
« on: January 04, 2020, 14:59:09 »
I had a quick power shut off/restart last week. Since that happened I am having strange network problems. Namely, I can’t get my AI lights reconnected to the network. I’m fairly literate at networking but I can’t figure it out. I even pulled a spare light I have out of storage and it won’t connect either. If anyone has more than my basic networking/router knowledge, please reach out to me. I need help. Thanks, Jesse 937-559-3551

Have you tried unplugging the router, letting it sit a few minutes and then plugging it back in?

Makes me wonder if it got hit with a power surge when the power flickered.

Also curious, what other issues besides the lights?

I did. I actually reset everything connected to the gateway. I feel like some router setting may have gotten changed/defaulted that is blocking my AI’s from connecting. I’m just not savy enough to get into the router and figure out the IP of the AI’s.

I tried an AI prime I had in storage as well and couldn’t get it to connect either.

It seemed like I was having slow, intermittent lag when browsing. But that seems to have gone away. It’s just the lights not connecting now.
