center plastic brace broke

the plastic brace across the top of the tank is broken  right in the middle any ideas?

Usually most will silicone or Weld-on an additional piece of acrylic across the top of the broken piece.  There might be other methods, but that is the most common.

i think travis has done this.  drilled holes and replaced with acrylic bar.  ask him

just cut it out and replace it with an acrylic piece, put two nylon bolts and nylon nuts on each end.  Just be sure to leave enough room to drill the for holes when you cut the old one out:

Just use clamps from front to back, this will support the glass until the new brace is finished.
