Ok, i guess I'll be getting ready to check peoples tanks within the next week or so.

Once again, Here's the deal $15 for Paid members, $20 for nonmebers.  Plus a little gas for far trips.  Once I break even on the equipment, I will turn it over to the club at which point my preference would be a clubwide vote to determine how much to charge/deposit and the rental timeline.

From here I would like folks to post up who want their tanks checked and we can try to group people together by location so i can hit multiple tanks in one night and save on gas. (remember I'm not profiting here, and I'm not charging you for my time  which is worth nothing anyways )

I think it would be cool to check peoples tank who are about to replace bulbs.  We can check it, swap bulbs, and check it again same day and see the increase.

Also, those that have screen to sheild coral from new bulbs, Im curious how much that shades coral.

And lastly, anyone that has an adjustable light rack to see the affects of raising or lowering lights.

Feel free to stop by my place when you are in the area. How do we pay? Paypal or cash at time of visit? Is there a surcharge for each additional tank. I have 4 running right now.

Nahh, just one charge per household lol it only takes seconds to check a tank. Cash or paypal is fine. An extra dollar to cover the paypal cost would be nice

Sweet. Does it say what the requirements are for "gift" I wonder if Paypal will get mad if I get +15 gifts of $15  ;D

Don't know if it's been posted yet, but here's a link on RC where people are discussing the PAR values for their SPS systems.

And, speaking of which...my 150g should be fully up and running tonight!  :)

So is anyone surprised by how high or low their Par is?  Who had the E-bay bulbs and have you had your Par checked yet?

Cool I think it would be great if they were better than a comparable expensive bulb ( same wattage and same kelvin).  I used them once and the more I think about it they weren't too bad.

Oh I've only told you a billion times!   One is at least 2 years old, the other is 3+.  I have a brand new eBay bulb to replace the 3+ year old bulb, so we can try both.
