really enjoying this tank! just need to take pictures without the led spotlights showing lol

That pink sps in the middle that you were trying to identify looks like a really nice piece. I made up a really cheap acrylic box that I put my cell phone in and place just under the water surface and the leds are then gone from the pic. Just wish the cell phone would adjust to the white balance alittle bit better. Most pics are too blue

im just thankful i have color, if someone reads this and thinks what is he doing different than me, the answer is nothing. I just added flow, two 250 gyres, and just about a month ago 2 more gyres smaller ones. I do not run an apex or other controller, I do have a ph and temp monitors, dosing pump for alk, manually dose ca (too lazy to calculate daily consumption) bio pellet reactor, and just recently last week a kessil h380 fuge light on my 60 gallon fuge.

What did you have going on?

Honestly I don't know, I had a Triton test ran about a year ago and there were a few items that were a little high, but nothing crazy. I think adding the proper amount of flow really helped, also adding that extra 50 gallons of water for a fuge seemed to help, or the fresh line to my skimmer to help PH. This tank is about 3 ft from the furnace in the basement.
I think the H380 light is going to really put my tank over the top with the fuge doing the proper nutrient control that it is designed to do.
Things i might upgrade in the future is a better return pump go to a DC pump, and then redo the plumbing into the separate fuge.

What was happening to your Corals that induced the changes?

most corals were brown and not vibrant, little to no growth, and some STN/RTN on new pieces.

I’m glad you’ve got it back in shape. I hope my situation turns around too...
