Title: trumpet coral question

my trumpet has always had a "bright spot"in the center/top of him.  While the rest of him is a duller green.
Can someone tell me why the different coloration, and what it means?

My guess is they are 2 different types of trumpet corals growing in the same colony

hmmmm. I've had him since he was 3 headed, maybe a couple more.  Don't a hundred percent recall.
I thought about moving him to more light, not sure if that would do harm tho
