Kellyj don't miss your opportunity.

Anybody know if these spit sand all over your corals?

Mine did.....but it was still a cool fish until it jumped through the canopy door that I forgot to latch closed.

Received the blue dot jawfish from Liveaquaria today.  So far doing well but too soon to tell.
Thanks Humphrey for the heads-up on the sale.

Didn't last long, found him dead this morning :(   At least Liveaquaria has a decent guarantee.

No idea really.  Stress from shipping I guess.  Drip acclimated for about an hour.  Tried feeding once but didn't see him eat.

I know they say drip acclimation, but that is not always best.  test the PH when you open the bag.   Often the ph is very low from shipping.  And just opening the bag lets in oxygen that causes the ph of the small water volume to rise suddenly.  It's best to be ready with plenty of low ph water.   Match ph and temp quickly.  Then transfer the fish to the large volume of water and slowly raise the ph to your tank levels.

But this is a easily spooked fish.   Could just have been the stress of shipping.
