im new. i want to learn

I'm new to this. I don't want to look like an idiot. I've got a 90 drilled to a 40 gal sump. The top has 60 Cree leds.. There is 4 power heads directing water around. In the sump is a lot of porous live rock. A protein skimmer, and the pump back to the upper tank. I want it better. Please help me.

sounds like you have a real nice set up already.  Need to tell us what your goals are with your tank.  Is your tank up and running?  If so what do you have in it and what are you planning on keeping?

First off, welcome to Ohio Reef. It sounds like you have everything you need for a rest tank. As jjoos99 said, let us know what you have in mind? Are you wanting better equipment? Livestock? Do you have any pics of your current set up? We can talk you through things, no problem.

Easiest way to post a pic is to create an account on something like Photobucket.com and upload your pics to there. Then copy and paste the direct link into your posts here.
