"dual power"

how can i tell if a electronic ballast can power 2 400w mh bulbs, i noticed that some times it says dual, but when i look like in the picture it looks like 220 and 110, which i dont think we have plugs for 220 normally in the states isn't that a UK thing. sorry if this is a dumb question.

you got a elec cloth dryer, 99.9% sure its probly 220 :drink

it means you can plug them into the 110 outlet in your wall or hard wire them for 220v

so dual is power to the ballast, not out of it

Yes, Dual power means it will run with 120VAC @ 60Hz and 220VAC @ 50Hz.
