Looking for a decent setup for lighting my fuge. Needs to be 18" or smaller, any suggestions or does anybody have anything for sale?

The word on the street is full spectrum CFLs are great. Other wise 6500K CLF Flood lamps work well.

i have a 26w (2x13w) compact florescent fixture with legs. the bulbs are 6500k and the unit has done great for me. 20 bucks for nice and shiny, 15 if you want to clean off the salt creep.

According to Lost Floridian and Reef'd Up, Menards has them.

i went there and all they had were lights that made your plants look better, nothing about full spectrum or anything. so i went to dayton hydroponics and all they had were the 60w spotgro bulbs. if anybody knows exactly where in menards these bulbs are, i would love to know. of course asking someone is like asking for directions in a foreign country.

yea, because i wnt to lowe's in troy and all they had were the spotgro lights, from 60 to 120x. are these acceptable or do i want that full spectrum bulb? oh, and where you found that would be great too, save me an hour of hunting.

thanks

think this is the lowes one. i have not tried this one yet but i have tried the H.D. one and i get great cheato growth but i have the one that uses 26w but puts out like 96w (the one in  pic uses 16w with 65w output).  just find the cpf floods then look for the word daylight (6500k), at hd i think the package is green.  they are less then $10
