If your calcium is higher than you would like, more than likely you need to add more alkalinity or (part B) and cut back or calcium (part A). I struggled for a while to get my numbers were I wanted them but they were stable. No I'm testing once and a week and things seem to be growing faster.
I'm going to do just that. I am unfamiliar with two part products. This Kent Tech CB is the first time I've had any. I used to mix my own kalkwasser from pickling lime and use baking soda or some buffer product from the LFS for alkalinity. I'm really trying to do it right this time. But that's one of those targets that keeps moving around, KWIM?
