Hey everyone, very new here.
« on: March 01, 2010, 16:51:42 »
Hey all, I'm Steve G. from Middletown and just got hooked up to this site today, looks great and lots of info avaliable.
I have 3 fresh water tanks, had many, many in the past, set up 1st reef 5 weeks ago and am totally addicted, always scared me some because of the maint. and cost, but I worried over nothing.. LOL..
My fresh waters are 55 gal African Cichlids, 2 very large Pacus and a large Grenn Sevrun. Other is a 45 ngal typical community tank, and 3rd is large Oscars.
My current reef is a 75 with about 70-80 pd of rock, Damsels, chromis, goby's, clowns, etc., started adding softies and they seem to doing great.
Lots of work but well worth the benifits.

I'm sure I'll be chatting asking tons of questions, if I get bothersome just tell me..  LOl

  Thanks

Great to have you, Steve G.  I'm from Middletown, too.  As jd stated, you just missed our February meeting.  It was at my house!  You'll find your questions won't go unanswered for very long on here.

Welcome, and nice Jeep!

Tell us more about your set up, what type of filtration are you using, how about your lights, flow or Maintenance habits? Maybe we can help you avoid some of the pitfalls that most of us have fell into. But its looking really good for only 5 weeks in the hobby!
