you do get much more bang for your buck if you go LPS than sps...a 2" acro frag can cost you $75 when you can get a 8" neon green eichnophora(like i did) for $75...

Jenghes- I grow a lot of pocillopora damicornis (cauliflower coral) in another reef that that looks similar to what you describe as green bird's nest coral? I attached a picture  below. Is this the same coral as yours?

That looks like my green bird's nest coral.
