Filter media cups

I got these in today from filtermediacup.com they are very well made and they were only $4ea! Made in the USA too! I’m a little excited for them lol. I also got my sand today. Step by step getting closer to having my new tank ready to get wet!

if these eliminate socks what do you put in them to filter with? they look like silverware holders from the cafeteria.

I’ve seen people use those silverware holders lol... I use filter floss, or lately I’ve been using polyfil, it’s like $4 for a bag of it from Walmart
