Yup, looks like majano. They will take over a tank and sting the dickens out of any other coral they come in contact with.

A lot of folks are having luck with these guys by zapping them. A couple of retailers sell an electronic zapper that melts em to goo. I use one to zap mushrooms.

Mrs. Wages pickling lime, at most grocery stores. Try a pharmacy for the syringe? Hunger?

Yep,
Have had one for awhile and have not seen aiptasia since and he decimated the 100 aiptasia that i had in short order and know eats mysis.
Everything else was a waste of time and money, I keep him fat and happy in case one of those aiptasias get a crazy idea of sprouting up.

It will kill almost anything ... but Aptasia can be be tough and can grow back on ya.

I would be very careful if you are going to add that filefish to your tank. i had to pull 2 of those out of customer tanks already. One only started eating corals after he ran out of aiptasia and the other one started on the corals right away. I did not sell either of these fish and do not recomend them. they are very risky in a reef tank.
