Nikki, do you still have the Fromia Starfish?  Just wondering if they are reef safe?  I read somewhere they are and some place else they aren't.  I would like to get a starfish and never had much luck with linkias.

No, the Fromia starfish died quite a while back.  The one I had was reef-safe (I don't know about all of them), but they do not survive long in captivity.  In all but the biggest aquariums, they usually starve to death within a year.  Mine only lived about 8 months.  Unfortunately, this was an occasion where I bought on impulse rather than researching.  Poor lil guy.  :(
