Okay so the framing and trim is all done with my stand and is ready to be stained or painted. My question being I have my dad building the stand because he so so good with wood working and he's wanting to know if he can put a 3/4 inch of plywood on the top of the stand for extra support as well as leveling it out. I told him that should be fine and we will put a peice of insulation under the tank. Making stands for a 75 and 180 gallon. Is this a good or bad idea? Thanks for the help!
