Dido Matt,

  I hope that everyone had a good time, the turn out was great and the fellowship is always great as well. Today was 2 for 1 visit and it seemed to come out of the conversations that rock aquascaping caught everyone's attention. Matt and Mindy put a lot of effort and time into there tank as do I, appreciate all the positive comments about both tanks and hope to see other tanks in the future.

Really had a good time today. Both of you guys have great looking tanks and both families were great, welcoming us into your homes. Not to mention I picked up a couple GC, sold and swapped some corals and picked up some live rock. The fellowship was great as always, good to see everybody.

Mystery Solved, September Monthly Ohio Reef Meeting

  As the group was at my house viewing my tank I asked several members to take a look at a coral (Purple or Deep blue) that was growing in two spots back on a rock and tell me if they new what it was. The mystery went unsolved but today I got digging around in some of my notes on coral that I had purchased in the past and I believe that this coral is Copps' Purple Satin Porties, I bought a frag a while back, had it sitting in this area but it did not take well. I think what is growing there now is a couple smaller pieces that did make it after all.
