June 2009 BBQ
« on: May 25, 2009, 22:14:11 »
When:    Saturday, June 20th
Time:     3:00 - whenever

Come alone; bring your spouse or your whole family to my house for a back yard cook-out. We have a pool so if you or the kids want to cool off bring your suit.

Food:
We will provide cheeseburgers with all the fixings, hot dogs, potato salad and pop. If you want to bring a dish your welcome to do so but certainly not required.

:drink BYOB :drink

There will be sponsor gift certificates raffled off to members and Frag Swap progressive raffle tickets for sale.
You don't have to be a member to attend the BBQ and sponsors are welcome
Please post here if you plan on coming and how many family members your bringing with you.

Does anyone have corn hole or any other fun games they can bring?

As of right now, we are not going to be able to make it, which is a real bummer. We will have way too many kids :o that weekend to even attempt to bring them all. If anything changes, we  will let you know though. Thanks for the invite! ;D

Looks like I'm coming back from Vegas a day early, so I'll be able to make it!  If there's pulled pork BBQ, I make some mean cornbread with a honey-butter spread...or if we're doing cheeseburgers/hotdogs, I make an awesome baked Mac & Cheese.  (Southern Cooking at its finest!)

Maybe a 10 lb pes-o-meat wont be enough? Are you still gonna have the hamburgers/hotdogs? And will there be plenty of buns/bread or should I bring some also? ;)

Hey everyone...

Thanks to American Airlines, I didn't get back into town until almost 2am last night.  Between that and other stuff that needs to be taken care of today, I'm not 100% sure we're going to make it.  We're going to try though.

If we do make it, I doubt I'll have time to make cornbread as it would require a trip to the grocery store and then baking...sooo...I'll bring something else.

Sorry for the last-minute-ness.  Regardless, I'll make sure the gift certificates are there.  Brian/Scott, I'll keep you both up to date.

Yesterday was horrible for flight.  I was delayed 2 hours on both my legs home.  Some of the other guys ran out gas circling O'Hare and had to divert to St. Louis to refuels.  THEN go BACK to O'Hare.
