I thought it was an error at first, then viewed the rest of the corals, some discounted to just under $500.

Some of the larger Acans (maxima, bowerbaki, etc.) can command a pretty hefty price.  I was drooling over an Acan maxima for the longest time, but it was $120 for a single polyp.  After a few months, the price came down...and I got it! 

But yeah, that dude is not pretty at all.  Oh well...value is only what someone is willing to pay for it.

I was at phishybuisness a couple weeks back and they had some kind of lps coral there and it was $1000 and marked sold.  It wasn't worth it if you ask me wasn't even very big must have been really rare.

I guess the name "poshreef" is well founded... I can understand carrying pieces that have hefty price tags but making it your business model is a bit much.
