Premium Aquatics
« on: July 09, 2011, 16:47:05 »
I was INDY with the kids today and begged them to let me stop at Premium Aquatics and it was my first time.  WOW is all I can say, the selection was unreal, prices were unreal, service was top notch and people were waiting at the door to get in.  They have a number system take a ticket look around and get what you want, its a really fair way of doing it.  I got a Yellow Tang, Sailfin Tang, Lawmower Blenny, Firefish, dozen snails, sally lightfoot crab all for under 100 bucks.  They had a purple tang to die for, but I could not afford that this week.  You should drive there some sat, just to see it, worth it!

Sounds like a great deal!

Your lucky to walk away with only spending $100.   I used to make that pilgrimage once or twice a year, end up packing my truck full.   Now that they do free shipping at $175, I just do that.

Good deal!  The last time I was there was a few years ago when they were moving to their new place.

A class operation they have there.  In a major overhaul of my basement systems, I hope to be there this fall for live rock (which has always been great for me) and some other goodies!

My live rock from them was great, but just a little TOO live...  Had lots of nasties in one rock...
90g SPS and LPS reef tank, 35g sump, ceramic rock by The Alternative Reef, Neptune Apex w 2 X EB8's, Moonlight module, ATI Sunpower Dimmable 8 X 39W T5's, Octopus Extreme 160 skimmer, PM Kalkwasser Reactor, 2 X Vortech MP40's, Geo 618 Ca reactor

Various thriving montipora, acropora, stylopora, wellsophyllia, blastomussa, hammer, anchor, and frogspawn, lobophyllia, rhizotrychus, pavona, scroll, and pagoda SPS and LPS corals, but no fish because I was too stupid to QT...
