Can a 125g be drilled?

I am looking at buying a tank to replace my 90g (something bigger) & I found a 125g however it doesn't have a internal overflow box.  Is it possible to drill the bottom or I guess back of the tank so a overflow box can be added?  I do not want to mess with a external box

That back for sure, the bottom is tempered from some tank manufactures.
