Another Frag tank build
« on: July 14, 2014, 14:17:51 »
I had several of these AIO acrylic frag tanks built and I have been playing around with one.  So far, I have a Kessil A360w, an aquaclear hang on the back skimmer + UV filter, 1 koralia circulation pump, and a maxi-jet pro 400 for the return, 2 custom built frag racks, and a Red Sea Max 130D cabinet.  Since it's an AIO, I am using mechanical filtration, along with chemi-pure elite, purigen, bio-pellets, and rubblerock in the back of the tank.  Now time to move it upstairs, add water and corals.

Skimmer suggestions.....I was considering this skimz monster external skimmer, but I'm not sure if it's overkill.  What do you guys think?

Currently, I have a hang on the back AquaTop Aquarium Power Filter w/ a 5 watt UV Sterilizer.  So I'm not sure which one would work best or either.
