Ripped these out today for the Columbus swap. Hopefully I’ll post happier anenomes tomorrow.

do you cut yours?  I had one once that wouldnt split and I took a pair of scissors to it and cut it in half.  weirdest thing I think I have done with my tank creatures.

I have cut them and I’m going to try propagating them. Most of mine have been natural splits but I’m starting to run low. If you’re careful with the feet they seem to recover from just about everything. Hope I’m not jinxing myself.

One of the strains I have is particularly hardy. A split of it does great in my daughters tank, and its the worst maintained saltwater tank in the state of Ohio:)

I tried one once in my display and it got really big. It would stay flattened out like a dinner plate with shorter tentacles. Maybe too much light. I really like the compact look with the longer tentacles. They look great Jim!

Thanks guys.

Never know if they’re going to be long or bubble. I’ll have 3 side by side. Same flow and light from the same parent and 2 will bubble and one will be long tentacles?  Different days different behavior?  Does seem in higher light they will flatten and bubble more overall.  More hobby mysteries.

That makes me feel better about the fact I cant get mine to quite bubble like I would like. Was bubbled in Keith's tank but in mine sitting under 350 par it doesn't care to bubble.
