Ok what lighting are you guys with 24" deep or deeper tanks running? type, wattage, brand? Is there such a thing as to much light?
-
have a 72 bowfront RR lit with a aquaspacelight, 2x250 MH and 2x24W actinics. everything grows very well. just have to put the more light sensitive corals towards the bottom or under on of my caps for a bit of shade.

400 Watt HQI PFO Ballast, 12k Reeflux in lumenarc reflectors, on a light mover to cover the entire tank. I don't think you can have too much light, but I do think that there is a point where the cost of running the lights will far outweigh the benefits. What are you lighting? You changing tanks?

I have a 48" current usa with 2 150W 1400K MH and 2 130 accent lights. :o ON a 75 gallon soon to be a 90 gallon

I have 400w 14k lights but some of the stuf in my tank does better under the 175w in my nano. I guess i need to setup another tank for softies and run all sps in the 240. Thats just what i need, another tank ::)
