Clams I used my dremel with a grinder. For zoa's, rics and some softies I use Hydrogen Peroxide. 4 parts tank water to 1 part H202 for 5 minutes. LPS I cut and use dremel grinder wheel. Also using a small paint brush to brush on h202 being careful not to getting it on the polyps although I have dipped some in it. They don't like it. You could also dose Algaefix in your QT as a secondary measure.

Didn't think about bushing with Peroxide......as soon as I get my QT tank parameters matching, I'm going to start moving some items into QT.

When I paint brush I do it full strength so it is quicker and don't have to leave the coral/clam out of water to long.
